Top Iranian Navy Boss Taken Out in Precision U.S. Strike

Iran just admitted what the world already knew: Alireza Tangsiri, commander of the IRGC Navy, is dead.
He went down with the frigate IRIS Sahand when U.S. forces hammered it near Bandar Abbas. Tehran confirmed his death on March 30 after days of dodging the truth.
This is no small win. Tangsiri was the hardliner in charge of Iran's swarm boat tactics and threats to choke the Strait of Hormuz, the artery carrying one-fifth of global oil. His outfit specialized in harassment, mining, and asymmetric attacks on shipping.
The hit is part of Operation Epic Fury, the relentless U.S.-led campaign that has already sunk over 100 Iranian vessels and gutted Tehran's ability to terrorize the seas. No more cheap speedboat ambushes or floating mines from this crew.
Israel delivered the initial blow days earlier, but American firepower finished the job. CENTCOM and allied statements make it clear: removing threats like Tangsiri makes the region safer and sends a blunt message to the mullahs.
Iran's navy is in ruins. Its commanders are in the crosshairs. Weakness invites strength, and right now America and its partners are showing exactly who's in control of the waters that matter most.
Game over for another IRGC bully. The pressure only ramps up from here.
